Apple Books release path

Publish only what has passed the gate.

Apple requires a validated EPUB, cover, sample, metadata, and separate rights and pricing. Orbitus adds human review before any ROB edition goes live.

Review and rights

Close editorial placeholders; review youth safety, technical claims, photograph rights, privacy, trademark use, and accessibility.

Validate the edition

Build an accessible EPUB 3 with live searchable text, run EPUBCheck, inspect it on iPhone and iPad, and verify every image description, sample, and link.

Release and connect

Submit through the Apple Books publishing portal, set rights and pricing, group the numbered volumes as a series, then add each final product URL here.

Physical editions

The current interiors are US Letter and image-rich. Before sale, each needs a printer-specific color preflight plus a separate wrap cover sized for its exact binding, paper, and page count.

1. Classroom proof set

Start with one or two bound copies of the picture story and youth volumes. Check dark pages, small labels, gutter clearance, and classroom handling before ordering more.

2. Short-run and direct sales

Lulu ↗ supports print-on-demand, full color, and Letter-size formats, which makes it a practical first proof and direct-order route.

3. Bookstore distribution

IngramSpark ↗ supports up to 8.5×11-inch color interiors and wider retail distribution after ISBN, cover, CMYK, margin, and proof approval.

Large-format campaign kit

Print the 3×5-foot posters.

Each PDF is built at its finished 36×60-inch size with vector type and a high-error-correction QR code pointing to a stable Orbitus landing page.
